Zak is Toyakwai Association Best Boy for 2009!

At the Greater London Karate Championships, held in Dagenham on 14th February 2010, the awards were presented for the 2009 season.

The points from all of the Toyakwai Karate Association competitions held last year had been collated and those with the most points were acknowledged and the winners received their trophies during a break in the competition.

SD School of Martial Arts proved their dominance of the competition circuit when 3 of their juniors were named joint third, one second and one as the overall winner in the Best Boy section.

SD also filled the second place slot in the Best Girls category for 2009.

Best Boy – 1st - Zak MacGregor
                  2nd- Arran Hutchinson
         Joint 3rd- Christian Timmis, Tyler Herbert-Scott and Jed Leeson

Best Girl – 2nd – Charlotte Hutchinson

Sean Doyland, Chief Instructor was very pleased, saying that ‘SD students are becoming stronger and stronger and it is good to see some of them getting the recognition that they deserve for all their commitment and hard work’
