Personal Profile: Nicholas Heathfield

I started karate at the age of nine.

I joined SD School of Martial Arts in 3rd may 2006 and quickly gained an interest and worked my way up the grades and I ended up getting my black belt on the 20th December 2009.

My main interest in karate is Kumite. I have competed many different competitions across Great Britain. I have been to Sheffield, Edinburgh, Birmingham and London. I have a total of 20 trophies.

I have met some great friends at SDSMA. I hope to get my second Dan black belt on 20th December 2011.
