March 14 2010 Private Lessons Prove Popular at SD SD School of Martial Arts has seen an incredible rise in the popularity of the private lessons that they hold at their full time martial arts centre in Eastgates, Colchester.
These one to one sessions are taught by SD Chief Instructor, Sean Doyland and his team of Instructors.
The most popular day is Saturday, where up to 12 private sessions take place whilst the classes are running in another area of the dojo. The lessons can be 30 minutes or an hour, and can be on a one to one basis or for up to 4 people.
Sean Doyland says 'The popularity of the private lessons is testament to the fact that they speed up the progression of the students, help to 'iron' out any problems they may be having with specific techiques and hopefully improve their pass mark when they grade for their belts' Available Instructors and their area of expertise: Sean Doyland (4th Dan, England International) - All disciplines Alex Kinsmore (2nd Dan, England International) - Korean Karate, Kumite & Kata, Urban Defence Richard Hunter (1st Dan, England International) - Wado Ryu Karate, Kumite, Kick Boxing, Self Defence.
